The head of the survey department is Gerry McGarrigle, MRICS.BSc.Ecom. The department has grown over the years and now has two full-time and three part-time surveyors and a consultant structural engineer.

We offer professional services ranging from the standard report and valuation required for mortgage purposes, to a full structural survey.

We have also tailored our service to provide an intermediate survey which comprises a report for a lending institution (if required), a RICS Homebuyers Report and a separate Structural Report on any specific problem observed during the main survey. This approach greatly reduces the overall cost but still gives an in-depth report on the specific problem.

In addition to residential valuations, the firm undertakes commercial valuations, compulsory acquisition cases, agricultural work, and specialist tree reports. Valuations are provided for probate, taxation and separation/divorce settlement purposes.
